A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

The world ended a long time ago. Now all that remains is the detritus of society — the worms writhing in the post-apocalyptic dirt. But what do the worms care? If the world's over, then why are we still here? And if this is the end of days, why do we still have to wake up on time for diplomatic meetings?

Worms Will Eat? is an RPG Maker MV game about what it means to be the Queen of Worms. It's a story about stories, sages, the living and the dead, and most importantly, what it really means to be a worm. Walk around at least 3 rooms and unravel the mystery of where your subjects got to! Discover the mysteries of the Worm Library, hang out in a graveyard, read nerdy quotes from books and manga I thought were cool; there's so much to discover in the Land of Worms!

===

Part 1 of the Tunnels of Vextro Anthology. WORMS WILL EAT is meant to set the stage for the works that come after it. I think they are all wonderful works, and encourage you to check them out in order if possible. The second entry, made directly in response to this one, is The Ballad of Swishy.

Playtime shouldn't be more than an hour or two.

Worms Will Eat? is an RPGMaker MV game, you should be able to just run the nw executable in the folder to run it. This should be true for both Windows and Linux. As for the Mac dl - to be honest I don't know how stuff works over there but I've provided the default export MV gives me so I hope it works.

love the art. good start to the series, sets up a lot of interesting themes, humanity, purpose, stories & the meaning of retelling... this makes a very compelling case for books in games being good. its fun to find them and watch them build upon each other

thank you so much for playing!!! i like when books in games are trying to be about something specific in universe and not mere set-dressing to fill it out... and also i really like mixing and making people look at stuff i thought was cool in something someone else made so *slaps an umezu quote on the table* check it out

keep on digging!!!
